At Cellar Rat Wine Merchants, we believe there should be a story behind every label. Every product is tasted & selected by our knowledgeable staff, and nothing is sold unless we like it ourselves.

We have a thoughtfully curated collection of more than 1,200 wines, 300 spirits, 200 beers, and much more. No matter your budget, we are able to accommodate with prices ranging from $5 to $500, including our famous $100 case!

Our priority is to help find the right product for you, and to have fun while we do it. Because, in the end, we drink to enjoy. Cheers!

We also offer public and private classes, wine tastings and events, so whether you want to learn and taste with a group of like-minded enthusiasts or desire a private guided wine tasting led by one of our experts, it's happening here.

When we host private events, we always aim to design an event tailored to your needs. Whether they are for a large corporation, a non-profit organization, or an individual, we work with you to create an atmosphere that will be lively, entertaining and educational.

Mac Forbes Australian Wine Tasting, with Mac Forbes!

Mac Forbes is a Yarra Valley winemaker who has thrown out the rulebook and written his own. He’s still making it up as he goes – and the results are exciting! Born and raised in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Mac Forbes has become one of the region’s greatest champions. He’s shone a spotlight on some of Yarra Valley’s lesser-known subregions and shaped the conversation about Australia’s terroir, all while making thrilling cool-climate wines.

Come by between 4 and 6 PM and taste a few Mac Forbes wines, and meet THE Mac Forbes!! There is no charge to taste. Come by anytime between 4 and 6 PM.
