How This Happened...

Cellar Rat Wine Merchants was founded in October of 2005, over a handshake and a glass (or several) of Montrachet, and opened its doors in August of 2006. The idea came from the co-founders desire to open a smaller boutique wine shop that focused on selection, service and most importantly-QUALITY.

We have assembled a group of wine experts (consider them your own personal sommeliers) whose goal is to make sure that you discover a wine that you enjoy by suggesting their favorites or guiding you through one of our free weekly tastings.
The knowledge, experience and commitment of our team are topped only by their passion for good wines and the excitement to share it with you. We value the relationships we build with our customers and look forward to sharing our passion with you.
